How to download youku videos

Sometimes you may want to download certain online videos, however they might not be available in most of the famous video sharing sites eg. YouTube, Metacafe, Google Video, Yahoo Video etc. Fortunately, there is a high possibility that the videos that you are looking maybe available on Youku(优酷网) – the largest video sharing site in China. According to some reports, Youku is currently serving most than 85 million videos each day. With the availability of so many videos, you may want to download some of Youku online videos. Here’s a simple way where you can download Youku online videos.


In order to download Youku online videos, all you need to do is to enter the respective URL for Youku video into this site – FLVCD. Eventhough FLVCD site is in Chinese language, downloading process is quite simple, it is just a two steps process.

Step 1 : Enter the URL for Youku online video into the text box as shown below and click on the button next to it.







Step 2 : Right click at the new video link and save as .flv file format (as shown below)



Video downloaded will be in FLV file format. You can play FLV videos using kmplayer or GOM Player.
